We are looking for applicants for a Health Information officer. A Bachelor of Health Information Management (HIM) or equivalent will be necessary in this position.
Excellent coding skills and knowledge of coding standards; with preferably 2 years coding experience would be advantageous. Enthusiasm in the upgrade of Patient Management Systems as part of the Health Smart project.
Effective communication, time management and interpersonal skills are essential in this position and a commitment to quality, ongoing education and staff development.
Eligible for full membership of Health Information Management Association of Australia (HIMAA).
Successful applicants will be required to consent to a Police Record Check.
