Car up for grabs at this year’s Hospital charity golf day

Ararat Motor Group announced that they are giving away a New Holden Cruze worth $24,000 prize at this year East Grampians Health Service Charity Golf Day for the first person to get a hole in one on the 18th green at the Chalambar Golf Club.
Mr. Glenn Veal, Owner of the Ararat Motor Group said "we are delighted to be involved in this year's hospital charity golf day, by giving someone the opportunity to win a brand new Holden Cruze worth $24,000 and to raise money our local hospital."
East Grampians Health Service Community Liaison Officer Mr. Danny Drake commented that "the charity golf day committee has been working very hard at making this year's event a big success, and by having the car as the major prize adds an air of excitement around the day, hopefully someone wins the car."
Mr. Drake said "The charity golf day kicks off at noon with a shot gun start, with great prizes available to open and corporate challenges. The 3 person open Ambrose competition has three St Kilda Parkview Hotel luxury accommodation prizes for the winning team. The three person corporate Ambrose competition has an advertising package from 1089 3WM MixxFm and three golf and accommodation packages at Barham Golf Club for the corporate winners.
Mr. Drake highlights that the money raised from this year's event will purchase two Peak Care overlay air mattresses for District Nursing of EGHS which are high level pressure relieving devices that relieve pressure from bed sores, these specialized mattress's will be used by the community palliative care patients at the health service.
