Bush Poet wows this year’s Winter Luncheon

Local Bush Poet Colin Driscoll kept a crowd of around 70 people well entertained at the 5th Annual EGHS Winters Luncheon held at the Moyston Football Clubrooms.

EGHS Auxiliary President Liz de Fegely commented that "the luncheon raised over $2,000 and the money will be going towards comfortable chairs for the residents of Garden View Court Hostel. I would also like to thank all the ladies from across the region that come along to our events and support our fundraising events during the year."

EGHS Chief Executive, Mr Nick Bush said "Colin was great fun, telling some of his enlightening stories of the personalities living in rural Australia. A large crowd was in attendance and the luncheon had a festive atmosphere. We have great support from the EGHS Auxiliary who put in a tremendous amount of work into these events and I would like to thank them for their contributions in fundraising for the Health Service."
