New CEO appointed to East Grampians Health Service

The Board of Management of East Grampians Health Service was delighted to appoint Mr Nick Bush as Chief Executive of the Health Service. Mr Bush commenced in his new role last week.

East Grampians Health Service Board President, Ms Sally Philip said "Mr Bush has been Chief Executive of Cobram District Health for the past 6 years and has earned a reputation for achieving outstanding results by  working closely with staff and the community.  We look forward to working with Nick and welcome him to our Health Service".

Mr Bush said, "I am looking forward to working at East Grampians Health Service and I thank the Board for the opportunity to be Chief Executive of this highly regarded Health Service.  I am looking forward to working with the Board, staff and community to improve the delivery of health services to the local community.  I am pleased to be living in Ararat as my wife is from Willaura and I have a strong connection to this region.  My children are currently completing their schooling in Cobram and will start school in Ararat in the new year".

Mr Bush sees great opportunities for East Grampians Health Service to work towards improving the health services delivered locally and in creating education and training for staff.
