Happy Cubby House Winner

1 year old Mackenzie is very proud new owner of a cubby house that her grandmother Lyn Cunningham who won in last year's Lowe St cubby house raffle. The cubby house was generously built by Ararat's Men's Shed and timber and materials kindly supplied by local business Bulte Timber & Hardware.
Ararat Men's shed secretary said "It was a good project for the men's shed to be involved in and we always like to support local community groups whenever we can."
The Lowe Street Auxiliary worked vigorously hard to sell the tickets and raise money to help furnish the Lowe St residents family room so that families who visit, can a comfortable private room to share time together. Mrs. Jana Millear, President of Lowe Street Auxiliary said "This was exceptional effort by the Lowe Street Auxiliary selling all the tickets and I would like to thank the Men's shed for building the cubby house out of materials kindly donated by Bulte Timber & Hardware.
