New blood pressure machine for District Nursing

19th September, 2011

Local Willaura-Lake Bolac Community Bank Manager Mr. Simon Robinson was happy to receive a checkup with a new Blood Pressure Machine at Willaura Health care recently. The unit was purchased with funds received by the Willaura Hospital Auxiliary through the Willaura-Lake Bolac Community Bank's ‘Community Investment Program'

Mr. Robinson said "The Community Bank is proud of its ‘Community Investment Program" which has seen $10,000 distributed to district organisations last month, ensuring significant benefits to Willaura, Lake Bolac and surrounding districts.

We are very pleased to support East Grampians Health Service in such a good cause, and I commend the work done by the Auxiliary and East Grampians Health Service in ensuring the wellbeing of local residents who depend so much on District Nurse visits. \

I have always struggled since I was a kid with high blood pressure and I know first hand how important it is to have regular blood pressure checks.

East Grampians Health Service Board and Willaura Auxiliary member Mrs Heather Fleming said "The Willaura Hospital Auxiliary are actively fundraising and supporting the Willaura Hospital and were very happy to receive this donation to purchase much needed equipment .
