New Podiatrist to start at Hospital

Wendy Waterhouse joins East Grampians Health Service Community Centre to start her new role as Podiatrist. Mrs. Waterhouse will be seeing a range of clients and looks forward to strengthening the services available for Podiatry at the Community Centre.

Mrs. Waterhouse her family moved from Halifax in England to Ararat. Mrs. Waterhouse is a mother of three and is looking forward to living in Ararat and making some new friends. Mrs. Waterhouse said "The opportunity came up to move to Australia and we just grabbed it, it really wasn't a hard choice at all. We have always wanted to come to Australia and I think we will have a better lifestyle and prospects for our family here."

Mrs. Waterhouse commented that "she finds Podiatry to be a very rewarding career and is really enjoying her new role at the East Grampians Health Service"

Mrs. Waterhouse explained that there would be new Podiatrist services available for private health insurance clients for any clients wishing to utilize their private health insurance (extras coverage) will be able to claim immediately, using the HiCaps automatic claiming system. This means that claiming can occur on the day of service.
