Dental Services at East Grampians Health Service, Ararat

East Grampians Health Service serves our local communities’ dental needs at our modern 4 Surgery Dental Clinic located at the Community Centre in Girdlestone Street. Clinic hours are 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

A range of comprehensive dental services are offered by our dental professionals including:

§     Emergency Dental Care

§     General Dental Care

§     Denture Care

Eligibility conditions apply with services available to the following patient groups:

§    All children aged up to 12 years of age

§    Eligible youth aged 13 to 17 years old (including dependants of Health Care Card Holders)

§    All Adult Health Care Card and Pensioner Concession Card holders

For patients seeking Emergency Care, a triage process is undertaken providing patients with urgent dental needs opportunity to receive timely care based on clinical need. For patients seeking General or Denture Care (as with other public health disciplines), Waiting List guidelines may apply.

Eligible patients pay a Co-payment commencing at $24.00 per visit, although some co-payment exemptions apply for specific groups.
