Staff benefits

Cafeteria	The cafeteria provides meals for all employees at a reasonable cost. The Cafeteria is located at the Ararat Campus on the ground floor of the Hospital building. The Cafeteria is open every day from 7.00 am to 5.30 pm.
Car Parking	Free parking is available at both Ararat and Willaura. Special parking areas have been reserved for Medical Staff and Ambulance vehicles. The Health Service accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any loss or damage to vehicles while parked on the Health Service's property.
Corporate YMCA Membership	Corporate YMCA Membership is available for all staff. Details are available from Pay Office.
Deductions Through Payroll	Deductions from your pay can be arranged through the Pay Office.
Immunisations	Immunisations are provided for vaccine preventable diseases such as Hepatitis B and Tetanus. Mantoux testing is available at specified intervals. An annual Influenza Vaccination campaign is held and staff participation is encouraged.
Ambulance Subscriptions	Discounted Ambulance subscriptions is available for all staff.
Physiotherapy, Podiatry & Community Health Services	Physiotherapy, Podiatry & Community Health Services fees are discounted for East Grampians Health Service staff.
Radiology & Pathology	Bulk Billing applies to all staff requiring Radiology and Pathology services.
Salary Packaging	Arrangements can be made for the deduction of Salary Packaging/Salary Sacrifice. A Packaging kit is available from the Pay Office and is subject to the current Health Service Policy.
Social Club	Membership of the Health Service Staff Social Club is open to all employees. Membership is $2 for individual staff members or $3 for staff members and their partner which enables partners to attend functions at no cost. Deductions are made each fortnight from the employee's pay. The Club organises a variety of social activities throughout the year. The clubroom is situated at Ararat at the rear of the main Hospital.
Health Promotion Events	Health Promotion programs, organized by staff from the Centre of Community Health, are available to all EGHS staff.
